
SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2022 Notification Out
Introduction
The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR) and Sepoy in NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs and the Staff Selection Commission.

Selection Process for SSC GD Constable
Stage 1 : Computer Based Examination: The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each.

Stage 2 : Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST):Based on the performance in CBE, candidates will be shortlisted for PET/ PST by the Commission. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted at various centres finalised by the CAPFs.
Stage 3 : Medical Examination: Candidates will be shortlisted for Detailed Medical Examination (DME) from the pool of candidates who qualify PET/ PST.
